Love heading out to the Bush and detecting for Gold. No Gold for me this time but I did find some poor diggers lunch money.
I detected areas that I have never been before and I guess that’s what detecting is all about.
Summer is on its way and I can’t wait to start getting out on the bike and heading bush for some more prospecting.

My wife and I spent a couple of nights in Tibooburra in Outback NSW. Great spot if your don’t mind the wind, dust, heat and menacing flies.
I found a small nugget which has me planning another trip back to this area. I hope that next time it will be on my bike. I do still need to make a few mechanical repairs to it before I venture into this remote area of Australia.
